Abstract

Correction of rotated teeth requires significant time and efforts with conventional mechanics. Unwanted iatrogenic effects may also occur on the teeth adjacent to the rotated teeth if not undertaken correctly. The time taken for derotation of teeth can also add to the overall treatment time. In this article, we are presenting a simple clinical technique using a hypodermic needle for faster and more efficient derotation of teeth. This technique has been found to be useful in correction of even severely rotated teeth.
